Associate Project Manager (Event Production)
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager for a top media & entertainment company hybrid out of their Glendale, CA offices! The Assoc Project Manager will be responsible for leading tier 3 and 4 projects for design, video, digital, and events. This position will also act as a relationship manager with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional and consistent service. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with the Manager of Production Management on projects, and the day-to-day operations of the department. This role will serve as a right-hand to the Manager of Production Management in planning and operations.
Responsibilities :
- Support the Manager of Production Management in the day-to-day operation of DCCR and coordination of various projects surrounding a big event.
- Work closely with and under the guidance of the Manager of Production and Client Services to manage projects for Event.
- Build and manage successful relationships with clients of various disciplines and quickly establish rapport.
- Support the process and the execution of tier 2 and 3 projects across creative and client teams while ensuring efficient coordination and communication.
- Document the scope of work with help from internal resource team leaders and Project Managers.
- Help develop a feasible project plan and schedule that benefits both the client and the internal resource teams.
- Clearly organize, communicate, and forecast deliverables and dependencies to both the client and the internal resource teams.
- Identify areas of opportunity for business strategy to keep brand on the forefront of cutting-edge creative content and process.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of project/program coordination and/or event production experience.
- Experience in coordinating creative projects in the realm of event production, graphic design, video production, and digital projects.
- Passion for building relationships with internal resource teams and clients including senior leadership and executives.
- Able to work under tight timelines.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressured environments.
- Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Strong blend of quantitative, verbal, writing, and leadership skills.
- Adept at distilling complex processes, concepts, and ideas into elegantly simple charts, phrases, and summaries.
- Able to prioritize project management-related tasks while also helping internal resource teams to prioritize their tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects at one time.
- Solution-oriented and comfortable with working in a fast-pace and evolving environment.
- Ability to be a thoughtful and collaborative partner to all stakeholders on any given project.
- Ability to command a room and lead with integrity.
