Must have:

We seek a candidate with a solid grasp of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) systems. Experience in the Electric Utility sector is essential, alongside a capability to troubleshoot applications across various platforms, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Toughbooks. The ideal applicant will have experience in monitoring complex applications and possess data analytics expertise to analyze and modify flat files. Familiarity with operating within an Oracle environment is crucial, including the ability to read and write Oracle SQL queries and manage stored procedure coding and optimization. Proven experience in analyzing log files for troubleshooting and debugging applications in a multi-platform context is highly valued. Additionally, the candidate should have a background in functional and technical architecture, design, development, testing, and system integration. Proficiency in development methodologies and tools (.NET, VB, C#), database platforms (Oracle/SQL Server, Linux), web platforms (IIS, Apache, .NET, Adobe Flex, JavaScript, HTML), and client platforms (Citrix, Windows OS) is required. Candidates must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities:


In this role, I will expect you to outline and establish the system scope and objectives through thorough research, application monitoring, and fact-finding to create or modify moderately complex information systems. You will be responsible for preparing detailed specifications from which programmers will work. You will collaborate with a specific business unit within a multi-platform environment on multiple project assignments. Additionally, you will guide and mentor junior Systems Analysts and perform other duties as needed to support our team’s objectives.
