Akkodis is seeking an IBM Sterling Consultant for a Contract with a client inRichardson, TX/ Chicago, IL. Candidates must have advanced expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator and IBM Transformation Extender, including the Healthcare Pack.

Rate Range: $49/hour to 58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IBM Sterling Consultant job responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator, File Gateway, and Secure Proxy.
  • Implement and configure IBM Transformation Extender (WTX) with Healthcare Pack to support EDI transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards in all data exchange and transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Sterling-based workflows, ensuring performance and reliability.
  • Support Agile development practices and contribute to documentation and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working with IBM Sterling technologies and EDI solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in IBM Sterling Integrator, File Gateway, and Transformation Extender (WTX) with Healthcare Pack.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA standards and experience implementing secure data exchange protocols.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $58.00 per hour
