Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Location: Clearwater, FL

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to support production operations focused on circuit card assemblies (CCA), module assemblies, and cable harnesses. This role involves designing and optimizing manufacturing processes, developing production layouts, and implementing tooling solutions to enhance efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design and document manufacturing processes and production layouts for circuit card and module assemblies.
• Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to implement production improvements.
• Support the production floor by working closely with operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement tooling solutions to support manufacturing processes.
• Integrate inspection and testing requirements into production plans as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure optimal performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specifications to maximize manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with relevant regulations and specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in general assembly and circuit card manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and wire harness prints.
• Familiarity with cable harness and wire harness assembly processes.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Understanding of J-STD-001 and surface mount technology is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and navigate stairs within the facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with cable harness design and process documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
