Job Duties · Present and sell products and services using a needs-based approach· Make outbound calls to offer insurance and financial services· Prepare quotes and effectively present options· Provide exceptional customer service· Assist customers with claims, payments, billing, and other service-related issues· Accurately handle policy changes and account updates· Recognize opportunities to offer additional products or services· Participate in training and team meetings· Perform other related duties as assigned by the agentKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to develop relationships with customers and prospects
- Ability to process information quickly, handle several tasks at once, and remain organized
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to learn and become proficient with various computer applications
- Ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses
- Negotiation and persuasion skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Office experience preferred
- Sales experience desired but not required
