Job Title: Appian Developer

Rate: $52/hr on W2

Location: 100% Remote, Unless local to Phoenix, AZ or SFO, CA

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support applications for Core banking, Payments, Cards, Foreign Exchange, and Trade Finance solutions.
  • Lead the software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices to team members and the solution design process.
  • Drive change through collaboration and influence, demonstrating proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Establish and enforce quality standards in software architecture and design principles.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of code defects and configuration problems.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to execute business requirements.
  • Continuously learn and improve personal and team performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance.
  • Expert in leading delivery teams and building technical design documents.
  • Expert in Appian 24.X, Oracle DB/SQL, and Web Services.
  • Experience in Appian system administration and management.
  • Experience in Appian component implementation, SAIL UIs, Custom Data Types (CDTs), Records, Dashboards, and Sites.
  • Solid understanding of online security infrastructure and application side including LDAP, Active Directory, and Certificates.
  • Experience in cross-functional delivery across IT teams to integrate Appian applications with existing platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in designing UI SAIL Forms, CDTs, role-based access control components, and developing Records and Reports using SAIL.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with complex enterprise integration services/solutions.
  • Post-delivery experience in supporting live applications and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Experience and exposure to API gateways.
  • Implementation experience with SAAS/PAAS based solutions.
  • Knowledge of Banking Services, Payments, Risk/Fraud, BSA/AML, KYC.
