Job Description Property ControllerWHO: Large commercial real estate companyWHAT: Controller reporting to CFO to oversee accounting and reporting.WHEN: Immediate NeedWHERE: Atlanta, GASALARY: $90k – $130kResponsibilities

• Accounting team leadership. Manage accounting and financial reporting functions, financial reporting and analysis, including property management
• Treasury matters including cash management, debt compliance and banking relationships
• Prepare budgets
• Manage external audits
• Prepare partner distributions and financial reporting to all stakeholders
• Oversee property accounting managers and internal controls
• Improve property accounting policies and procedures
• Employ data analysis for strategic decisions and reporting
• HR responsibilities for hiring and training

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance with 8 years of experience
• CPA preferred
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Real Estate experience required
• GAAP
• Experience with audits and management reporting
• Budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll & treasury management
• Prior management/supervisory experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site and remote functions
• Strong process improvement experience
