Product Owner Level 2

Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly – $75.00 USD Hourly
Description:
As the Technical Product Owner, you’ll lead the delivery of scalable, high-quality technology solutions for a cross-functional development team. You’ll collaborate closely with the Product Manager to translate product vision into actionable technical requirements, ensuring alignment across engineering, architecture, and QA. You’ll drive agile execution, manage the technical backlog, and serve as the primary technical liaison across teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the technical product backlog, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with architectural standards.
- Translate business needs into well-defined technical requirements and acceptance criteria in partnership with the Product Manager.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to refine user stories and resolve technical dependencies.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical demos.
- Remove blockers and coordinate with infrastructure and support teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Conduct technical impact assessments for new features and changes, ensuring support readiness.
- Monitor post-release performance and manage technical escalations or adjustments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and practices to improve team efficiency and product quality.
- Act as the technical point of contact for internal support teams during product rollouts.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements through development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure technical documentation is current and accessible for support and operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical product ownership or engineering leadership within agile environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, architecture principles, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scalable enterprise systems and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
