Schedule: 1st Shift (9/80A), typically 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced NDT Test Examiner Level 3 to join the Safety and Mission Assurance team. This role involves training, examining, and certifying NDT personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in radiographic and liquid dye penetrant testing and be certified to Level 3 per NAS 410 / ASNT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant inspections using both film and digital systems.
• Train and certify NDT personnel in accordance with NAS 410 standards.
• Serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Conduct internal audits and generate nonconformance reports.
• Read and interpret engineering documentation, inspection plans, and drawings.
• Use Microsoft Office applications and other digital tools for reporting and documentation.
• Support occasional second shift, overtime, and weekend work as needed.
• Travel occasionally to support testing activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Certified to Level 3 in Radiography and Liquid Dye Penetrant per NAS 410 / ASNT.
• Strong understanding of NAS 410 standards and procedures.
• Proficient in evaluating radiographic images and performing NDT inspections.
• Experience in training and mentoring junior NDT personnel.
• Familiarity with ISO specifications and quality standards.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, or Ultrasonic Testing.
• Experience with TipQA and/or Costpoint systems.
• Prior involvement in DCMA audits.
• Background in ISO-certified environments.
• Ability to perform configuration reviews and ensure compliance with design specifications.
