Salary: $250,000 — $400,000 equityCompany Description We are partnered with a stealth-mode financial technology company that has recently raised over $250M at a multibillion-dollar valuation to build the next generation of U.S. banking infrastructure. The company’s mission is to rebuild core banking systems from the ground up — creating real-time financial infrastructure that connects directly to the Federal Reserve and supports industries defining the future, including crypto, AI, and defense technology.This is a rare opportunity to join a founding engineering team tackling problems that most engineers will never get the chance to work on — building secure, production-grade blockchain rails and financial systems at national scale.What You Will Do Design, build, and secure wallet infrastructure to support blockchain-based payments and fund transfers.Develop internal blockchain rails and crypto transaction systems that integrate directly with broader banking infrastructure.Take ownership of backend systems powering real-time crypto and fiat interoperability.Define and embed security best practices throughout the crypto software development lifecycle.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, compliance, security) to ensure robust and compliant infrastructure design.Contribute to the company’s ledger, transaction processing, and on-chain/off-chain reconciliation systems.Ideal Candidate Background 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience.Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, wallet infrastructure, and crypto fund transfer mechanisms.Experience developing secure systems for managing digital assets or working at crypto exchanges.Proficiency in backend languages (Golang preferred; Python or Rust experience a plus).Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving technical environment.Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving.Preferred Experience designing and implementing financial infrastructure or compliance-sensitive systems.Familiarity with cryptographic primitives, key management, and blockchain security.Contributions to open-source blockchain or fintech projects.Strong interest in national-scale financial systems, payments, or stablecoin infrastructure.Compensation, Benefits & Other DetailsBase Salary: $250,000 — $400,000 depending on experience.Equity: Competitive founding-level equity package (high-upside potential).Visa Support: H-1B transfer sponsorship available (no new H-1B filings at this time).Schedule: On-site 6 days per week in Newport Beach, CA, collaborating directly with the founding team to launch the company’s first core banking platform.Mission: Be part of a founding team reimagining U.S. financial infrastructure and creating one of the most technologically advanced banking systems in the country.
