Job Description
- Provide primary and family evidenced-based care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payments.
- Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
- Engage with patients about healthy lifestyle choices and complete diagnostic tests for injuries or illnesses.
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings and chronic condition management.
Critical Information
- This role requires weekend availability, specifically at least 4 out of 6 weekends, covering both Saturday and Sunday.
- All MinuteClinic positions are safety sensitive and patient-facing.
- Onsite as needed.
Education/Licenses Needed
- Completion of a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, or a health-related Master’s Degree with Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience preferred, or successful completion of CVS Minute Clinic training.
