Under the direction of the VP of Administration, this position will play a key role in developing a physician network by preparing, analyzing, maintaining, and interpreting data on patient characteristics, diagnosis, treatments, services and charges for patient discharges in order to assist in the development of strategic initiatives and decisions regarding financial planning and monitoring of local market share healthcare services and costs. Supports the functions of the Executive Director of the MSO in developing and maintaining physician relationships through services and programs of the hospital.Qualifications Responsibilities:
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- High School Diploma required, college degree strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience And Skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Must have had internship or previous administrative experience in the healthcare industry.
- Must have strong research abilities and experience performing statistical analysis on healthcare data (e.g. patient population data, cost analysis, etc).
- Must have superb interpersonal and customer service skills to develop relationships with physicians, staff, and administration.
- Must have demonstrated project management/coordination skills, the ability to multi-task.
- Must have advanced Microsoft Office and relational database skills (including Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- May require public speaking to present program information to various groups.
- Able to work independently and possess excellent communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.

- Must be able to travel by own vehicle throughout community service area (Nassau, Suffolk, Queens) about 20% of the time.
