Job Title: ASI/AS400 Consultant

Location: Renton, WA (Hybrid Onsite required)

Duration: 4 Months (as per SOW)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ASI/AS400 Consultant with 8 10 years of experience in systems development and implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising ASI/AS400 core system applications, ensuring compliance, scalability, and successful project deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise ASI/AS400 core system applications including planning, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

  • Manage daily support, maintenance, and incident resolution for ASI applications.

  • Lead project deployment activities and ensure systems are secure and compliant.

  • Provide technical solutions to scale core ASI platforms (AS400 + custom applications).

  • Support Agile development processes and facilitate day-to-day agile activities.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform services with business needs.

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and IT departments.

Technical Skills Required (8 10 years):

  • ASI/AS400

  • COBOL400 / RPG400

  • ILE/RPGLE / SQLRPGLE

  • CBLLE / SQLCBLLE

  • CLP / CLLE

  • SQL400

  • DB2

  • Integration Solutions (APIs)

  • Web Services

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
