Seeking a Sr. Backend Software Developer for gathering requirements, application design, development and testing. Create presentations, demonstrating changes, deploying changes & providing technical customer support.

Duration -contract/through 6-30-26

Work location : Columbus (onsite)

  • Responsible for new development and/or rewriting legacy applications to .NET applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server, as well as a strong understanding of modern development practices.

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to conceptualize & deliver robust, scalable & user-friendly

solutions. The new applications will implement N-tier architecture & comply with coding

standards.

Skills/required/desired amount of experience:

  • ASP.NET exp. developing with the (C#) language-required 10 yrs.

  • Exp. developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later-required 10 yrs.

  • Exp. with SQL Server Database design and development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures & functions-required 10 yrs.

  • Verifiable Service Oriented Architecture exp, developing & securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)-required 10 yrs.

  • Exp. or a demonstrable understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies and recovery using Azure DevOps (TFS)-required 10 yrs.

  • Exp. developing a project using agile methodology-required 7 yrs.

  • Exp. developing RESTful APIs and web services using .NET Core & .NET 5/6/8-required 5 yrs.

  • Exp. with TFS/Azure DevOps including git, boards and CI/CD pipelines-required 5 yrs.

  • Exp. or a demonstrable understanding of developing applications that are mobile compliant-required 5 yrs.

  • Exp. with Microservices-required-2 yrs.

  • Microsoft C# .NET Core & .NET 5/6/8 Framework-required 2 yrs.
