Location: Richmond, VA – Onsite

Type: Contract W2

Job Description Java Developer

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development with expertise in building scalable, high-performance applications.

  • Proficient in front-end technologies including JavaScript, Angular, and responsive UI design principles.

  • Solid understanding of AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, etc.) for application deployment and cloud-native development.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and integration with cloud services.

  • Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices in AWS environment.

  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and best practices in data management for cloud applications.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
