Title: Senior Endpoint Engineer
Remote
$45-52/HR on Apex Systems W2
- Manage Windows and macOS lifecycle transitions – from beta testing new releases to retiring out-of-date versions, in collaboration with internal team and managed service provider
- Leveraging automation and self-service tools, maintain and improve OS provisioning, onboarding & offboarding processes (Autopilot & Jamf DEP)
- Ensure overall compliance of OS features, settings and policies, overseeing the remediation and documentation of any gaps
- Discovery, enablement and delivery of new OS features, best practices, improvements or automations that can improve security, reporting and user experience
- Work with virtualization, OT and security teams to ensure uniform alignment with company compliance and usability expectations
- Provide direction, oversight and ensure timely delivery of managed service provider projects and delivery efforts
- In collaboration with managed service provider, create and update knowledge base articles, runbooks and critical KPIs for OS systems and related technologies
- Serve as backup escalation point for Intune SME
Skills:
- Experience with managing IoT/OT/Process systems and the unique challenges they present
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload independently
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset
- Certifications in Windows and macOS administration or platforms
- Previous experience working in large, cross-functional teams/partnering with MSPs.
- Agile certification(s)
- An ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of and hands on experience managing Operation
- System tools and processes such as
- OS lifecycle management
- MECM (SCCM), Intune, Jamf
- Autopilot, DEP
- CSP’s, GPO’s
- AppleScript, PowerShell, Python, etc.
- Cloud platforms and services, such as Azure, AWS, Office 365, etc.
- Microsoft GraphAPI, MS SQL
- Automation technologies to streamline manual processes and enhance capabilities
