Role Overview
The firm is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to support its Accounting Operations team. This individual will focus on Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and assisting with Month-End and Year-End close. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have an analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee Cash Management activities, including reconciliations and monitoring daily activity.
- Assist with Month-End and Year-End Close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Partner with the Director of Finance on reporting and special projects.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within mid-size company
- Proficiency with mid-size ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables and mining of data)
- Solid foundation in Accounting Operations and general ledger processes.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
