Job Title: IT Support Specialist – Windows 11

Location: Columbus, OH 43215 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months
Candidate Requirement: Must be located in Ohio

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support across multiple domains including workstation support, server administration, network connectivity, and information security. This role requires strong proficiency in Windows 11 , Active Directory , GPO settings , and file server management . Candidates must be willing to travel and work onsite in Franklin or Madison County.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware/software systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms
  • Support Windows 11 environments and troubleshoot OS-related problems
  • Manage file servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Interface with hardware/software platforms and provide cross-domain support
  • Document technical procedures and provide informal mentorship to peers
  • Communicate effectively with users and stakeholders (written and verbal)
  • Travel to onsite locations as required

Required Experience (Minimum 3 Years):

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows 11
  • Experience managing Citrix systems, VDI and its other technologies
  • Expertise in Active Directory , GPO settings , and file server management
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues across various tech domains
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
  • Proficiency in operating systems including Windows and macOS
