Test Engineer Staff – Orlando, FL
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Orlando, Florida is seeking an Automated Test Engineer. Our team is responsible for providing calibrated and validated test stations to support all stages of development, integration and testing of major subsystems and systems.
What You Will Be Doing As the Automated Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for the production units.
- Oversight of system-level test activities including supporting root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails. Upon determination of the root cause, the Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.
- Assisting in the development of estimates for new proposals, generating Capital Expenditure Requests and upgrading existing test equipment hardware or software when requirement changes warrant it.

If you have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM-related field with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree, we encourage you to apply. Having previous production test experience is preferred. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, and have a good understanding of basic electrical, software, and mechanical engineering skills.
