Career Overview Full-Time Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA), Urgent Care Bon Secours Mercy Health has expanded its footprint and is seeking dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Clinicians (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) to join our Urgent Care team in Southern Virginia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are proud to offer up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and up to $5,000 in relocation assistance.

As part of our urgent care team, you will manage a wide range of non-emergent illnesses and injuries while working alongside a supportive staff that includes medical assistants and front-office team members. Our urgent care clinics are open 7 days per week, 8 a.m. 8 p.m., providing consistent scheduling and the opportunity to build strong connections with both patients and colleagues. Retirement savings plan with employer contributionEPIC EMR system utilized across the ministry Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care for walk-in patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of urgent care needs

Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, I&D, and wound care as appropriate

Collaborate with medical assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent service

Provide patient education and ensure clear communication around care plans

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic EMR) Qualifications Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in VirginiaActive DEA license Two years of active NP/PA experience

Urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting Work Hours: Three 8a-8p shifts per week with rotating weekends.
