Network Engineer

Position Title: Senior Network Engineer

Client: New-York Presbyterian Hospital

Facility: NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center

Location: 525 East 68th Street New York, NY 10065

Duration:8 Months contract (Potential for an extension)

Shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (includes a 60 min break)

Schedule MUST be flexible (day/evening/night).

34 wk remote/hybrid assignment. LOCAL STRONGLY PREFERRED.

Palo, Routing, Arista, F5, DDI (Infoblox), Wireless, Aruba, Cisco exp (R).

BSCS/EE or equivalent work exp (R).

CCNP or higher (P). 5-7 yrs support exp for network infrastructure products (R).

Thorough knowledge of OSI model & interaction between layers (R).

CCNP-level mastery of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, TCP, UDP, NAT, HSRP/VRRP, VRF, QoS, Ethernet, Inter- & Intra-domain multicast (R).
