Service Now Developer
Position: ServiceNow Developer
Contract: W2 Only
Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to business and technical requirements.

Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions.

Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and custom applications.

Implement and support core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, and other web services.
-
Perform upgrades, patches, and migration activities while ensuring platform stability and compatibility.

Develop custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for KPI tracking.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing ServiceNow implementations.
-
Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
-
Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
-
10+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development.
-
Experience working with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.

Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.
-
Knowledge of data structures, relationships, and data modeling in ServiceNow.
-
Proficiency in building REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
-
Understanding of ITIL framework and its implementation in ServiceNow.
-
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD automation for ServiceNow.
-
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.
Nice-to-Have
-
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.

Experience with advanced modules like ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.

Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and custom app development.

Familiarity with AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Service Portal customization.

Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and enterprise integrations.

Understanding of DevOps principles and automation within ServiceNow.
