Position: ServiceNow Developer

Contract: W2 Only

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to business and technical requirements.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and process owners to translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions.

  • Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and custom applications.

  • Implement and support core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, LDAP, SSO, and other web services.

  • Perform upgrades, patches, and migration activities while ensuring platform stability and compatibility.

  • Develop custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for KPI tracking.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing ServiceNow implementations.

  • Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

  • Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow development.

  • Experience working with ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.

  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Service Portal.

  • Knowledge of data structures, relationships, and data modeling in ServiceNow.

  • Proficiency in building REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.

  • Understanding of ITIL framework and its implementation in ServiceNow.

  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD automation for ServiceNow.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Nice-to-Have

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.

  • Experience with advanced modules like ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps.

  • Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and custom app development.

  • Familiarity with AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Service Portal customization.

  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and enterprise integrations.

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and automation within ServiceNow.
