Job Summary
Job Purpose: Lead and direct the Automated Test Engineering (ATE) team operationally and recommend improvements.

Job Purpose

  1. Responsibility for hands on day-to-day ownership of any automated test scripts, framework, estimates, planning, test execution ROI, automated test defect resolution, reporting and quality are accurate and maintained effectively and efficiently
  2. Act as escalation and resolution point of contact for ATE related items for Professional Services projects
  3. Ensure effective testing by monitoring and auditing projects, removing inefficiencies, identifying areas to improve using existing data points, trends and KPIs
  4. Resourceful, proactive and tenacious temperament essential
  5. Provide leadership & mentoring on ATE best practices to the team and enable team members to make informed decisions
  6. Act as a point of reference and resolve conflict where required to the team and/or other teams
  7. Conduct 1:1 coaching team on ATE processes, career development, and tearing down roadblocks.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor s degree or higher degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Automation Testing Engineering or comparable fields
  2. 5 years software manual testing of desktop and mobile financial applications experience and leading QA teams
  3. 3 years automated test engineering experience with leading automation test engineering teams.
  4. 3 years working with web services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Selenium, AJAX, JSON, XML, SQL databases, Git and ADO repositories
  5. Experience with resource allocations for Automation Test Engineering resources on projects
  6. Experience with MS Office, MS Teams and specifically extensive experience with MS Excel for data gathering, sorting and charting
  7. Experience in financial software/payments application testing
  8. Must be hands on and comfortable with technology platforms especially back end, high volume transactional systems
  9. Knowledge and/or experience using software engineering test tools, performance and automation testing tools and framework java or python scripting
  10. Excellent analytical problem determination and solving skills
  11. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  12. Proactive Energy and desire to deliver high-quality software on tight schedules
  13. Exceptional communication skills, decisive approach and strong analytical skills
  14. Candidate should have strong and effective decision-making skills
