As their project portfolio grows, we’re seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager or
Project Manager who is ready to take ownership of challenging, high-profile concrete projects and play a key role in delivering excellence from start to finish.
The Role
As a Project Manager (or Assistant PM), you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of self-perform concrete projects—from foundations to structural frames and architectural finishes. You’ll ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in building lasting relationships and exceptional structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead (or assist in leading) all phases of self-perform concrete projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, submittals, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with field superintendents, engineers, and the preconstruction team to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor field productivity, quality, and safety performance.
- Manage client relationships and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor coordination for materials, equipment, and logistics.
- Review drawings, specifications, and RFIs for scope and constructability.
- Support estimating and change management processes as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3–7+ years in project management or field engineering with a self-perform concrete contractor.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, sequencing, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative — someone who takes ownership and delivers results.
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
