Location: Based anywhere in the U.S. (Arizona preferred)
Travel: Nationwide — frequent project site travel
Experience Level: 2–5 years

About the Role
We’re representing a nationally recognized construction contractor delivering large-scale pharmaceutical and life sciences projects across the country. As a Travelling Safety Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of site safety and compliance across active job sites.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, traveling, and working directly with project teams to maintain and promote a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits across multiple active projects.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety programs, and client-specific safety requirements.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors.
- Assist project teams in developing and maintaining job hazard analyses (JHAs) and site-specific safety plans.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and corrective measures.
- Serve as a safety resource and mentor for field personnel, promoting a proactive safety culture.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of safety experience in construction (pharmaceutical, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred).
- OSHA 30 certification required; additional safety certifications a plus (e.g., CHST, STS).
- Experience conducting site audits, safety briefings, and training sessions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
