About The Role The Senior Business Analyst at Claritev is a pivotal role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This remote position involves leading requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation for various healthcare projects. The incumbent will collaborate closely with business units, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with organizational goals and customer needs. The role demands a proactive leader capable of managing complex projects, minimizing requirement defects, and ensuring clear communication across all levels of the organization. The Senior Business Analyst will also mentor junior staff, facilitate process improvements, and support compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence healthcare technology initiatives and contribute to impactful projects within a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in a Project Management Organization is preferred
- Proficiency in designing and implementing project management methodologies
- Knowledge of requirements definition and management practices
- Familiarity with multiple project methodologies including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
- Expert-level skills in business and system analysis, along with project management
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
- Capability to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration and client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects with evolving priorities
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows and claim processing is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Actively solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements to ensure solutions meet actual needs, reducing defects and maintaining project alignment
- Manage multiple priorities, expectations, and stakeholder relationships at various organizational levels
- Engage with project sponsors, end-users, and development teams to gather requirements, obtain sign-offs, and ensure clarity
- Collaborate with developers and business users to define project scope and effort estimates
- Assist in project planning, including defining methods, processes, tasks, and schedules
- Work closely with development teams during design, programming, testing, and implementation phases; conduct walkthroughs and reviews
- Coordinate changes to functional specifications during development cycles and update documentation accordingly
- Support end-user and staff training initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new solutions
- Mentor junior analysts and foster collaboration across departments and disciplines
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations throughout project lifecycle
