About The Role

Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of project management and Agile delivery for multi-million-dollar healthcare technology implementations for its customers. This role is crucial for ensuring successful project outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management, including scope, planning, risk, issue, communication, and integration management.
  • Managing delivery using an Agile framework and Scaling Up Processes/People.
  • Reporting to leadership on various OKRs and KPIs.

A Day in the Life

  • Manage a project according to a Contract/Service Order.
  • Ensure product/project vision and goals are met by understanding customer business/technical needs, translating needs into requirements, and working closely with the team on delivery.
  • Create project/release/sprint plans and present them to the customer and internal stakeholders. Maintain/track project progress to plan using tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.
  • Create/maintain documentation and deliverables such as Project Charter, Gantt charts, Best Practices, Lessons Learned, etc.
  • Implement proactive risk/issue management processes and mitigate risks by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and publish weekly/monthly/governance status reports to the customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage resource capacity and utilization.
  • Manage customer and internal meetings and document/publish minutes. Track action items to closure.
  • Liaise with product, engineering, infrastructure, and other teams to address customer needs.
  • Managed end-to-end transition to production support. Track production tickets, etc., to closure.
  • Track and produce key KPIs/OKRs/metrics.
  • Facilitate core Agile ceremonies and best practices such as sprint planning, review, retrospective, demo, etc.
  • Challenge and remove organizational and cultural impediments.
  • Serve as a project management and Agile knowledge source within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 years of project management experience.
  • 3 years of business analysis experience.
  • Computer Science or Engineering (any discipline) background.
  • Customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
  • Top-notch problem-solving, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Project Management and Agile framework/tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Rally).
  • Experience in expectation management/value delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience managing government customers/projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Value-Based Care projects and a basic understanding of this field.
  • Experience in Healthcare Data Analytics with a focus on the understanding of health care data formats (CCDA, HL7, etc.).
  • Experience in IT/Automation (APIs, SQL, BI).
  • PMP Certification.
