About The Role The Human Resources Coordinator at Nestlé Purina plays a vital role in supporting our factory personnel and the broader HR department. This position involves providing administrative support, managing payroll processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various HR programs and initiatives. The HR Coordinator acts as a key point of contact for employees, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support related to HR inquiries, benefits, and workplace resources. Additionally, this role involves participating in employee engagement activities and serving as a community outreach liaison to foster partnerships that benefit our workforce and the local community. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our goal of creating a positive and productive workplace culture.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience in human resources, payroll processing, administrative support, or customer service within manufacturing, industrial, military, or similarly dynamic environments is required. Familiarity with digital HR solutions such as scheduling systems, SAP, Kronos, and I9 processes is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively serve employees and collaborate with team members. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities
- Act as the weekly payroll processing subject matter expert, ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees by answering HR-related questions, offering resources, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate employee files, HR databases, and recordkeeping systems, including time-tracking for payroll, attendance points, FMLA, and vacation records.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including onboarding, new hire orientation, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Support benefits administration, including knowledge of benefit changes and participation in annual open enrollment processes.
- Utilize and support digital HR tools and systems such as scheduling platforms, SAP, Kronos, and I9 compliance systems.
- Participate in and support employee engagement committees and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a community outreach liaison to establish and nurture partnerships with local organizations and resources.
- Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the HR team and organizational goals.
Benefits Nestlé Purina offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a salary range of $50,000 to $61,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
