Schedule

The RN will work 36 hours/week on night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, typically every third weekend, and covering one holiday.

Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to cardiac step-down patients, including those recovering from heart catheterization and post-operative open heart surgery. The RN will also have experience with cardiac drips and other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for cardiac step-down patients.
• Monitor and manage heart catheter recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open heart patients.
• Float to other units as needed during low volumes or staffing coverage crises.
• Participate in weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in cardiac step-down nursing.
• Experience with open-heart patients, ventilators, and Epic EMR.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
