Senior Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a contract with a client inCollegeville, PA. Candidates must have expert-level knowledge of HPC platforms, Azure fundamentals, and Linux infrastructure to be considered for this role.
Rate Range: $56/hour to 70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and implementation of complex technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business and architectural standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership, fostering a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture.
- Design and review system architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, resolve technical challenges, and deliver impactful results.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables, contributing to strategic planning and execution.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, recommending and integrating tools and practices that enhance engineering efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in engineering roles, with a strong track record of technical leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems or solutions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive strategic technical initiatives.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $70.00 per hour
