Akkodis is seeking a Database Administrator for a contract with a client inErie, PA. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in advanced Java concepts to architect scalable, high-performance applications.

Rate Range: $41/hour to 53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Database Administrator job responsibilities include:

  • Define program goals, scope, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (engineering, product, operations) to ensure seamless execution across projects.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep programs on track.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Oversee program budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-efficiency.
  • Track program progress using KPIs and adjust plans as needed to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years focused on AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, C#, and Azure AI Services, including orchestration of LLMs and Semantic Kernel.
  • Strong proficiency in REST API development, JSON handling, and automation using Azure DevOps and Azure Automation.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $53.00 per hour
