Position: Applied Engineer

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $100–$150/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities(Training support will be provided):

  • Design and oversee evaluations for a wide range of coding tasks, such as migrating repositories from JavaScript to TypeScript.
  • Treat these evaluations as test cases to measure the AI system’s performance over time.
  • Analyse real-world user cases to understand strengths and weaknesses in the AI’s coding ability.
  • Present evaluation insights directly to the research team to guide improvements in the AI software engineering agent.

Requirements:

  • Experience in full-stack engineering (React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Hard-working, detail-oriented, and precise approach to your work.
  • Actively seeking a long-term opportunity.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
