Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy for core platform initiatives.
  • Lead system evolution to support rapid scaling and enhanced AI capabilities.
  • Mentor engineers and elevate technical practices across teams.
  • Translate ambitious product goals into practical, scalable solutions.

System Design & Implementation

  • Architect and build distributed systems that power marketplace dynamics and AI-driven talent matching.
  • Implement AI/ML features that improve candidate evaluation and recommendations.
  • Establish engineering best practices to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Cross-Functional Impact

  • Partner with product managers to align technical execution with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to implement and optimize ML models.
  • Work with security and compliance teams to meet global data privacy standards.
  • Influence technical decisions across multiple teams and projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python and Ruby on Rails (must-have).
  • 3 years of technical leadership on complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Proven experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
  • Background building marketplace platforms or similarly complex systems.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their real-world applications.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in AI/ML platform development or talent-matching algorithms.
  • Large-scale data processing/analytics expertise.
  • Familiarity with global compliance and data privacy.
  • Speaking or publishing technical content publicly.
  • Success working in distributed, remote teams.
