Job Description

  • Handles aspects of data entry, processing, and preparation of orders for shipment.
  • Assist in periodic and special inventory count, reconcile data to find out the root causes of inventory discrepancies, and conduct inventory adjustment
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
  • Ensure all paperwork, including warehouse and personnel, is completed in a timely manner
  • Organize, compile, and update warehouse records and documentation
  • Participate in health / safety training and monthly meetings to avoid violations of food cross contamination and workplace safety protocols
  • Address any questions and concerns on food safety and employee safety with supervisor for prompt resolution
  • Assist with stockroom duties and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculation and a working knowledge of MS Excel and/or Google sheets (required)
  • Working knowledge of the Google suite in general (Gmail, Chat, etc)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • Ability to work 1st shift, from 8am – 4:30 pm
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
  • Physical requirement including frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting of up to 100 lbs; For instance, when an employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs and 100 lbs they must work in teams of two or use the proper equipment and tools for the job/task at hand. Ability to walk and stand for at least 2 hours or more at a time; ability to work in a cooler or freezer for at least 2 hours or more at a time, etc.
