++Summary:++

Novus Foods is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Inventory Control Manager to help take our supply chain operations to the next level. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead strategic initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce risk, and support our continued growth. You’ll report to the VP of Planning & Customer Service and play a critical role in driving smarter inventory practices across our network — ensuring we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time.

++Duties and Responsibilities:++

  • Develop and maintain inventory control policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Lead from a functional perspective inventory control procedures in our production and storage facilities, as well as mentoring inventory control personnel at those sites that will have dual reporting to site leaders.
  • Oversee cycle count programs and annual physical inventory in conjunction with Finance; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory reporting in SAP.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory supports operational goals.
  • Monitor and manage slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
  • Coordinate inventory adjustments, transfers, and write-offs in compliance with internal controls.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of materials (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Support audits and regulatory compliance related to inventory.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management processes.

++Qualifications & Experience:++

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or materials management.
  • 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and inventory modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting and reporting.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

++Supervisory Responsibility:++

Dual responsibility with site leaders for site level inventory control personnel
