Expected pay for this position is $49.73 – $65.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for shaping and executing enterprise sourcing strategies that optimize vendor partnerships. This position emphasizes market intelligence, forecasting, and strategic vendor engagement to drive cost savings, innovation, and risk mitigation. Unlike operational contracting roles, this position serves as a functional strategist and advisor—leveraging analytics, insights, and vendor relationships to influence sourcing decisions and long-term planning. The Director regularly engages with senior leaders, providing counsel on supplier strategy, market dynamics, and cost optimization opportunities. This role does not have direct reports but functions as a subject-matter leader and trusted advisor.

Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, facilities management, finance, or related field.
  • 8 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management.
  • 3 years in a leadership-level capacity (influencing decisions, projects, or strategies).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop long-term goals and create a vision for the future. This includes being able to analyze complex situations, anticipate challenges, and make informed decisions that align with the organization’s objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Facilities Management or related field.
  • Healthcare or large-scale facilities/construction sourcing experience.
