Business Development Director
Job Description
My client is a technology-driven healthcare organization enabling physicians to deliver high-value care through scalable operations and cloud-based solutions.
They are seeking a Business Development Director to drive provider recruitment into their medical group. This role requires strong experience closing complex business deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target independent primary care physicians and specialists
- Lead in-person sales meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals
- Manage pipeline and activities in Salesforce; join weekly sales calls
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, partners, and distributors
- Support recruited practices and help establish new markets where needed
- Share best practices and contribute to the national sales team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree a plus)
- 4+ years’ complex sales experience, selling SaaS to hospitals / healthcare required
- Proven track record exceeding sales targets ($1M+ annually)
- Strong individual contributor in competitive markets
- Reliable transportation; 80% travel onsite in Austin TX (relocation assistance available to ensure you’re on patch)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance

Compensation
- Total package: $170K–$200K (OTE) – Most people in this role are doing $300K+ as this is uncapped commission
- Base salary: $85K–$100K
