Mainframe Operations Specialist – Hybrid
Requirements
Must have:
– Excellent organizational capabilities and strong attention to detail, with proven project management skills. – Demonstrated comprehension of process flows and the ability to pinpoint control gaps that may expose the firm to risk. – Must possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to execute process enhancements and solutions. – Proven success in collaborative work, boosting productivity, and designing/implementing innovative ideas. – Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior management teams across the organization. – Ability to develop and propose potential solutions and plans for subsequent steps, showing confidence in anticipating challenges and the consequences of decisions to advance projects. – Working knowledge of common and effective risk prevention technology tools and procedures. – Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency in daily tasks. – Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts is preferred. – UiPath automation development experience is a plus. – Strong skills in MS Access, Excel, and Word.
Responsibilities:
In this role, I will provide oversight for mainframe administration, operations, provisioning, access issue troubleshooting, as well as research and reconciliation to mitigate risk. I will administer access and support Schwab-wide production mainframe systems, collaborating with application owners, business partners, security administrators, and technology support to ensure that appropriate controls and procedures align with Information Security, Privacy, and SOX policies and protocols. I will work effectively both independently and as part of a team, ensuring I complete tasks with minimal supervision.
