Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related Technology field, or equivalent experience through education and/or technology experience. A minimum of 12 years of technology experience is also acceptable. – At least 6 years of experience in identifying technical solutions for intricate business issues, assessing the benefits and risks of those solutions, and providing sound recommendations. – Minimum of 5 years of technology experience. – This role does not offer sponsorship; candidates must have indefinite employment authorization. – Preferred: Knowledge of GRC systems, specifically Archer, along with an Archer Certification. – Experience leading projects, familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies, competence in JIRA, and experience in gathering technical requirements and documentation are also desired. – Operational and/or Enterprise Risk experience, integration knowledge, and AWS certification are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Methodology: Collaborate closely with business units, application teams, infrastructure areas, and vendors to identify, review, and assess solution requirements. Investigate and suggest strategic opportunities for virtualization and consolidation in the infrastructure or business, and propose changes to technical design solutions as needed. – Technical Consulting: Offer planning guidance and client consulting for moderate to complex projects, and work closely with other departments on various initiatives to achieve common organizational goals. Participate in project teams by providing consultation on architectural designs and integration opportunities for complex systems. – Planning & Organizing: Translate requirements into standard service solutions, identify opportunities for technology integration or reuse, and devise cost-effective solutions for highly complex projects. Review and manage requirements, performing cost-value and feasibility analyses. – Risk Management: Review, participate in, and update architectural standards, guiding principles, and strategies. Evaluate, review, and approve complex design solutions for business and infrastructure projects. – Administration: Keep management updated on activity statuses through accurate and timely reporting, and engage actively in committees representing the department or planning unit.
