Must have:

We are looking for a candidate with over 5 years of progressive experience in Mobile Application Development. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required. The ideal applicant should be proficient in Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio, and possess hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills are essential. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and business teams are important.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain mobile banking features for Android platforms using Kotlin and Java. You will be responsible for resolving production issues and supporting improvements in platform stability, performance, and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams—including developers, analysts, designers, and product owners—will be a key part of your duties to deliver high-quality features. You will also actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog refinement. Adhering to Android development standards, security requirements, and best practices will be part of your responsibilities. You will write and maintain automated unit and UI tests, engage in peer code reviews, and stay current with Android OS updates and development trends. Contributing to reusable component libraries and advocating for platform excellence, as well as mentoring junior developers and supporting team knowledge sharing, will be vital components of your position. Lastly, you will support enterprise-wide mobile initiatives and help influence platform strategy.
