We are looking for candidates with extensive experience that showcases expert knowledge in Java, JEE, Web Services, and APIs. Candidates should also have extensive experience with SOAP Services and RESTful APIs utilizing lightweight data-interchange formats like JSON. You should possess expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, Spring Boot Micro Services, Istio/Service Mesh, Spring Framework, and Open API Specification/RAML. A deep understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platform architecture, as well as Pivotal/Tanzu platform/Tanzu Kubernetes Grid or equivalent k8s managed runtime is essential.nnProficiency in API security measures such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, and OpenID Connect is required. We value advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFE), along with exceptional problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, team-building, and presentation skills. The ability to communicate both technical and non-technical issues effectively to various levels of management and staff is crucial. Experience in translating complex business needs into functional architecture solutions, along with interacting with staff, management, stakeholders, and vendors is important. We seek candidates with expert verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, as well as advanced troubleshooting expertise.

Responsibilities:


In this role, I will develop and update Services and APIs utilizing Java technology for both current and future projects. You will serve as a subject matter expert in enterprise integration services (SOA and API). Collaboration with development teams, business units, and other ETS areas will be key in identifying, defining, modifying, and implementing reusable Services and APIs. You will work closely with Business Analyst/Technical Analyst and API team members on product backlog development.nnOperating within an agile and fast-paced environment, you will oversee peer code reviews, providing guidance and direction for development. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, standards, documentation, and governance processes for SOA and API. Designing integration solutions for cloud-native applications that function across public, private, and hybrid clouds will be part of your responsibilities. You will also develop integrations with modern API Management frameworks for B2B and B2C scenarios.nnContinually monitoring the financial services technology landscape to spot the latest innovations and communicating relevant information to leadership will be essential. Additionally, you will apply architectural governance aligned with business and IT strategies and participate in on-call rotations for technical support. Your role will involve assisting with root cause investigations, offering recommendations, overseeing implementations during deployment rotations, and coordinating with supporting partner teams.
