Firewall Administrator

Requirements

Must have:

– A minimum of 3 years of experience in upgrading, deploying, and implementing new firewalls. – Strong knowledge of VPN creation, configuration, and troubleshooting. – Understanding of ICS protocols (ICS, Modbus, CIP). – Experience working in a regulatory environment (e.g., SOX, NERC CIP). – Must be locally based in Tampa, FL and able to work on-site at least 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage firewall systems by upgrading, deploying, and implementing new firewalls across our organization. – Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues. – Create and modify firewall rules as necessary. – Configure, troubleshoot, and support VPN connections; implement new VPNs to meet business needs. – Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, NERC CIP) and implement security measures to protect our critical infrastructure. – Understand and work with ICS protocols, including ICS, Modbus, and CIP. – Provide on-call support and participate in after-hours work (typically 7 PM EST or MT, once a week) for implementations and critical updates.
