Quantitative Risk Management Software Engineer

Must have:
I am looking for a candidate with over 5 years of technical expertise in MS SQL. You should have substantial experience in reading and writing SQL queries, along with a working knowledge of building and maintaining SSIS packages. A basic understanding of creating batch files and scheduled tasks is also expected. A strong grasp of technical concepts and familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support, is essential.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage the QRM product, focusing on the maintenance and enhancement of application performance and stability. You will interface with the business and management teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities. Troubleshooting new updates and upgrades with the QRM software will be a part of your daily tasks. You will actively participate in Agile SCRUM team ceremonies and collaborate with project or functional leads to develop use cases/scenarios, flow diagrams, and conduct workflow analysis. Additionally, you will create necessary documentation throughout all phases of the software development life cycle and ensure a deep understanding of business partner requirements, addressing any issues that may arise.

Our leading financial company in Charlotte, NC offers a hybrid work setting, where you will be onsite three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) and work remotely for two days. Familiarity with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools, along with Windows PowerShell scripting and Terraform JSON or similar technologies, would also be advantageous.
