I am looking for a candidate who holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or a similar field. The ideal individual will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in physical security operations, technology, security project management, or as a security systems engineer. A strong understanding of security system integration, including experience with platforms like Genetec video surveillance and ProWatch access control, is essential.
Responsibilities:
In this role, I will oversee the design, installation, and management of physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems. You will coordinate security projects, manage relationships with vendors, and ensure the smooth operation of security processes. I will rely on you to collaborate with Project Management Teams to devise and implement physical security measures for new projects and installations. Additionally, you will establish and enforce effective security procedures, manage policy lifecycles, and create physical security plans that encompass testing and commissioning. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, and presentations; designing scalable solutions for security system installations, repairs, and enhancements; as well as researching new security technologies to make informed recommendations. You will also oversee daily physical security operations, including managing security officers and incident response protocols, and will be tasked with identifying security risks and managing incidents. Building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, training and developing security personnel, and contributing to the continual improvement of our physical security processes and systems are also key aspects of this role.
