Requirements

Must have:

– Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling. – Strong foundation in basic statistics. – Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts. – Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. – Preferred: Experience in software development, particularly in the context of simulation applications. – Preferred: Familiarity with simulation software and techniques. – Must be located in the Cleveland, OH area and able to adhere to a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the statistical engineering group to develop and enhance simulation models for various stages of production, including grind tanks, raw materials processing, and filling lines. – Evaluate and identify bottlenecks, product needs, and opportunities for process optimization using simulation techniques. – Translate real-world scenarios and “what-if” analyses into actionable insights and recommendations. – Work closely with engineers in the field to understand project requirements and success criteria. – Develop and implement simulation applications to streamline operations and improve efficiency. – Continuously monitor and analyze simulation results, providing recommendations for process improvements. – Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

We are offering a 6-month contract to hire position for a talented and motivated Data Scientist based in Cleveland, OH. This role involves making significant contributions to our simulation projects, working alongside our statistical engineering group to optimize processes from grind to filling lines. The pay range for this position is $33.46 – $40.30 per hour, with expected hours of 40 per week and a working schedule of Monday to Friday during day shifts.
