PowerApps Specialist
Requirements
Must have:
– A minimum of 4 years of experience in Power Platform development, specifically with Power Apps and Power Automate. – Proficient in creating Canvas apps with a focus on optimizing applications to enhance operational efficiency. – Experience in data architecture and design, with the ability to create and manage entities, fields, and relationships in Dataverse, SQL Server, and/or SharePoint. – Familiar with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices for the Power Platform, including source control, solution management, and deployment pipelines. – Experience in developing and managing custom connectors to facilitate integration with external systems. – Strong skills in Power Automate, particularly in developing intricate workflows, automating processes, and managing Power Automate flows. – Knowledge of implementing security standards and best practices, such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and role-based access. – Capable of managing multiple Power Platform environments while ensuring smooth data flow and consistent access management. – Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements, training, and providing support to end users. – Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues and enhance app performance and usability.

We are seeking a seasoned Developer with advanced Power Platform and Power Apps skills to join our team for a long-term contract. This position involves working on diverse, high-impact projects within a large, complex corporate landscape. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of our Power Apps solutions. This is a 6-month Contract-to-Hire position with a pay rate of $60 per hour. The work schedule is onsite from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. We offer benefits such as dental, health, and vision insurance. Preferred candidates should be located in Houston, TX, or be willing to relocate before starting work. The expected commitment is 40 hours per week.
