Job Description
***Only candidates located near the Parsippany, NJ area are to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required Education/Experience:
A bachelor’s degree

Required Qualifications:
Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills
Experience working in Agile methodology environment
Experience in conducting code reviews
Highly motivated to learn new technologies
Highly experienced in troubleshooting issues, recommend interim and long term solutions
Knowledge of integration and performance testing applications
Experience with Production Support

Required Technical Skills:
At least 8 years of experience with the following technologies -Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs
Experience working with the containerized platform
Strong knowledge and working experience with Angular
Strong knowledge and working experience with relation databases like SQL Server, Oracle. Writing Stored Procedures, performance tuning
Experience with Messaging Queues – IBM MQ, Active MQ
DevSecOps experience
Creating Jenkins and/or ADO pipelines from scratch
Sonar scan and jfrog vulnerabilities detection and remediation

Preferred Technical Skills:
OpenShift (preferred) – experience deploying services via Jenkins
Google Cloud Platform Experience (good to have, not required)

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Angular
Collaborate with teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable solutions
Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in coding and security
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; recommend fixes and long-term solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or ADO, integrating code quality and security scans
Develop and optimize SQL Server/Oracle databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning
Integrate with messaging systems like IBM MQ or Active MQ
Deploy and support applications on container platforms (OpenShift preferred; Google Cloud Platform a plus)
Provide production support, monitoring, and issue resolution
Stay current with new technologies and contribute to process improvements
