Must have:

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess the ability to obtain and sustain a U.S. government-issued security clearance. It is essential to be a U.S. citizen, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for security clearances. A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. This experience should encompass areas such as RF communications, RF hardware processes, RF system integration, and testing methodologies associated with ground station antennas. It’s also important to have knowledge of satellite ground station architecture and specifications for ground station antennas. An ideal candidate should be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. government security clearance prior to the start date and will have experience with various RF link design components.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead and execute the design, analysis, testing, and integration of radio frequency hardware and systems throughout their lifecycle. Your duties will involve conducting trade studies, developing hardware deployment plans, and fielding new hardware. You will collaborate across teams and provide operational support within a secure, mission-critical defense environment. This position requires travel of up to 25%. As part of the RF team, you will manage aspects of the operational support from initial concept through detailed design and into customer support.
