Requirements
Must have:
– An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory before the start date. – You must be a U.S. citizen as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. – A DoD Clearance with a Secret level is required. – Typically, a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is needed along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. – Experience in radar signal processing specific to missile system applications supporting customer programs is essential. – Proficiency in C programming and object-oriented software design is required. – Familiarity with algorithm design, implementation, analysis, testing, and optimization is necessary. – An active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued Security Clearance is essential before starting, with the capability to obtain special program access post-start.
Responsibilities:
- You will employ advanced to expert knowledge of signal processing to assist with budget, scheduling, development, execution, and the achievement of challenging program objectives. – You will utilize and adapt simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance evaluation of radar algorithms and models. – Participation in engineering lab environments to test, verify, and validate radar models and the performance of signal processing algorithms according to predefined requirements will be part of your role. – Focus on the integration of algorithms into hardware while collaborating throughout all development phases, from program initiation to live-fire testing. Your signal processing expertise will help solve numerous undefined problems during design reviews, peer assessments, and technical briefings to both internal and external stakeholders. – You will share your expertise by mentoring several team members.
