Requirements
Must have:
We require candidates to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field, along with two (2) years of relevant experience. You must be adept in applying object-oriented software design, programming in C or C++, and using MATLAB or Python to evaluate data sets. Familiarity with UNIX/Linux, Apple OS, or Windows DOS command line is also essential. Experience in radar processing, imaging RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing, or discrimination algorithms is highly valued. It is necessary to be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance, and U.S. citizenship is a requirement due to security clearance eligibility.
Responsibilities:
In the role of RF Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineer II, you will spearhead the development of innovative modeling techniques. Your tasks will include creating new C++ models that are both extensible and maintainable, incorporating Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts into your software implementations. You will contribute to ensuring our customers’ success through the adoption and use of our modeling solutions. Additionally, you will work efficiently within established software products across various programming languages and technical environments. Your duties will involve researching and developing unique RF modeling solutions, collaborating with multiple development teams on complex software and physics challenges, and mentoring team members by sharing your RF expertise.
